Seven months on, the relentless flying and planning are beginning to take their toll. With one man down and the basics behind them, the trainees discover that life can get even tougher when they face the daunting test of flying in bad conditions and at night, relying solely on their instruments.
Highlights of this evening's Group D match between Turkey and Croatia at the City ground in Nottingham. Turkey is appearing in its first European final, having beaten Sweden to reach the Euro 96 finals. But the Turks face difficult game tonight against Croatia, who proved in the qualifying round that it has quality players in the ranks.
