Rolf Harris returns to his native Australia to meet some exotic patients and to find out how animal medicine is practised on the other side of the world. In tropical Queensland, at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, he joins the specialists as they treat kangaroos, echidnas, possums and fruit bats, and then he takes off with a flying vet for what must be one of the world's smallest - and most crowded-veterinary surgeries. Along the way he meets people who devote their lives to saving wild animals, helps bottle-feed a baby kangaroo and develops a strong attachment to an insect-eating bat. Producer Danielle Peck ; Executive producers Sarah Hargreaves and Lorraine Heggessey.
