Tonight, the story of Graeme Tennick whose face was disfigured in a near fatal road accident three years ago. At the time the complex series of operations needed were impossible to perform, but now in a pioneering operation, an orthopaedic surgeon will attempt to repair the damage. Vivienne Parry reports on how such a reconstruction is now possible because the surgeon can rehearse every cut on a precise plastic replica of Graeme's damaged skull.

And from America, Howard Stableford investigates the race to save the Florida turtles which, over the last ten years, have fallen victim to a mystery virus. So far scientists have isolated the virus, but can they develop a vaccine in time to stop a catastrophe?
