Comedy thriller starring Eddie Murphy

An old friend's murder leads impulsive Detroit detective Axel Foley to Los Angeles to find out about the killing. A law unto himself, Foley's attitude soon makes him enemies - among the cops as well as the crooks. Quick-witted and unconventional, he soon digs up dirt in supposedly squeaky-clean Beverly Hills.
