Last week's episode ended with the four "buccaneers" full of hope, vowing to win over London society (and its eligible young men) with their good looks and large bank balances. Reality begins to impinge on this dream in the second episode, as Virginia St George sets her sights on Lord Seadown - much to the chagrin of jilted Idina Hatton (Jenny Agutter). Joining the cast tonight are James Frain as Julius, Duke of Trevenick, and Sheila Hancock as his mother, the dowager duchess. Carla Gugino, who plays the romantic Nan, is featured on page 9; Gwen Humble (who plays her mother) talks about My Kind of Day on page 138.
