Back in 1965 Det Sgt Frank Cottam returns from Spain empty-handed after failing to arrest the notorious bullion thief Ronnie Richardson. Cottam's failure becomes public humiliation on the front page of all the national newspapers, so when an opportunity arises to gain his revenge 30 years later, he heads off to Gibraltar to catch his man. Unfortunately for him, this is where detectives Louis and Briggs just happen to be enjoying a holiday they won on "Bullseye". Richardson's freedom seems secure.
