Wildlife documentary series.
Everyone loves the giant panda: it's cuddly, lives in China, and makes an enchanting children's toy. And everyone thinks it eats only bamboo. But this film explodes the popular myth that pandas are vegetarians. Given special access to the Wolong reserve in China, producers Keith and Liz Laidler were able to film the panda's s true way of life, with unique scenes of courting, climbing trees and, the most startling of all, eating meat.
Narrated by David Attenborough.
