Don Ferrarone is the US Drug Enforcement Administration's boss in Bolivia, a country where cocaine is estimated to earn at least one third of the gross national product. Ferrarone faces impossible terrain, meagre resources, inadequate communications and the inevitable corruption as he hunts down three of the country's top ten narco-traffickers.
