One year to the day after the death of his wife Sheila in a hit-and-run accident, Hollywood producer
Clinton Greene invites six people aboard his yacht in the Mediterranean. Each was present on the night of Sheila's death and each has a secret to hide. They are required to participate in the 'murder game', a bizarre set of clues and riddles that will expose the guilty party. As the game proceeds, the danger increases and the killing starts. Working behind the scenes for a change, Anthony Perkins shares credit for the screenplay with Stephen Sondheim.
