George Rafferty is under pressure. Lambing and calving are at their peak. and a busy time for farmers means a hectic workload for the vets.
In the surgery, a female ferret which is brought in to be neutered provides the veterinary team with a considerable surprise. Next day finds George at the local Highland Wildlife Park treating an ibex and a baby otter, before a difficult emergency caesarean on a ewe carrying twins.
