Presented by Simon King
A crash helmet, a shower, a peg-bag, a traffic light, an old kettle ... no, this isn't a pile of old jumble, these are just a few places that birds have chosen to nest.
Simon King films some of these extraordinary nests and unravels the mysteries behind these seemingly bird-brain building schemes. His search for the strangest nest reveals a duck nesting seven floors above the ground and an aviator who has a running battle with starlings that nest in his aeroplane. Can a pylon or a kitchen cabinet possibly be a more desirable residence than a common-or-garden natural nest?
