The Bat That Cracked the Frog Code
Narrated by David Attenborough
In the Panamanian jungle 'batman' Merlin Tuttle has made contact with a strange intelligence - Trachops, the fringe-lipped bat. This space-age flying machine is equipped with an array of echo location and decoding devices as elaborate as any spy plane. Now, high-speed photography shows Trachops closing in with deadly accuracy to seize a croaking frog. Incredibly, it can even swim and launch itself vertically from the water surface.

The Olympic Games is the ultimate test for any sportsman and swimmers are no exception. For
ADRIAN MOORHOUSE , a fourth place in the World Championship
100m breaststroke final two years ago was even more of a disappointment, so the games in Seoul may represent his last chance of major international success. HAMILTON BLAND caught up with the Yorkshireman's preparations in Florida.
