Each week Desmond and Sarah explore the relationship between people and the animals in their lives.

Moral choices have never been easy. Down the ages religious teachers and philosophers have tried to draw up guidelines to help people make the best choices, but can codes from the past have any relevance to life in the 1980s?
Choices explores the human dilemmas which have been tackled by Holy Writ and priestly prohibitions. Have any of these problems been answered once and for all, or is it time to prepare a set of new commandments with fresh answers to the problems of modern living?
Rabbi Julia Neuberger asks Eric Bettelheim , Andrew Phillips , Mary Baker ,
Dr Charles Elliott and an invited audience about the new morality of money-making.
In the brave new world of the post-'Big Bang' city, peppered by stories of scandal and stress and salved by claims of increased opportunity and wider share ownership, are we making choices which will bring greater wealth for everyone or disproportionate riches for a few?

High Moon
The Earth and the Moon travel together round the Sun, but the movements of the Moon itself are not so straightforward as might be thought. Patrick Moore and Dr Ron Maddison discuss the whole question of how the Moon moves, how it affects the tides, and why it is very slowly receding from the Earth, at the same time slowing down the Earth's rate of rotation.
