Margaret has been a sufferer for three years. She describes to Claire what it feels like; the swings of mood, the mania, the depression. Philip and Yvonne look back on the effects of his untreated mania, how their business collapsed and their home had to be sold. Their son, Michael, witnessed as a teenager the devastation of the disease. He is now Chairman of the Manic Depressive Fellowship, formed to bring more support to sufferers.
