'I've always been fascinated by trees, I've loved them. I can't remember what made me do the first one, but I did a fruit tree with very large and live apples on it - it made you feel you wanted to pick them.'
Tessa Fuchs has a love for the countryside and takes delight in colour. These pleasures feature strongly in her work as a potter. In her studio in Kingston upon Thames, watch her making one of her trees and hear her talk about the landscapes that she makes in clay.
