This week Paul Daniels re-creates the sensational act, Defying the Bullets, as performed by the legendary Chinese magician Chung Ling Soo , who was killed presenting the feat on stage at the Wood Green Empire on 23 March 1918. Assisting Paul is Jack Gross man, original assistant to Soo. Also featuring from Ireland, the wit and whimsicality of Billy McComb from Spain, the dare-devil balancing skills of Crazy Monroe from Germany, Katja Nick , the lady who talks backwards

Abby McClure is perfectly content with her life as a widow, running a lumber yard with the help of her three sons. Her sister Maxine, however, is convinced that Abby needs another husband and introduces her to Jake Iverson , a widower with a teenage daughter.
