The Lawn Tennis Championships
The second day's play direct from the All England Club featuring
The Ladies' Singles
With last year's champion Evonne Cawley not defending her title, two former champions are among the favourites to succeed her. The ever-popular CHRIS LLOYD , winner in 1974 and 1976 and defeated finalist for the last three years, has been back to her best form in recent months - while MARTINA NAVRATILOVA , who beat Mrs Lloyd in both 1978 and 1979, seeks her third Wimbledon singles crown.
Heading the new generation will be the newly crowned French Open Champion, the Czech HANA MANDLIKOVA and three American teenagers:
TRACY AUSTIN was the youngest ever US Open champion at 16 in 1979, but she has yet to reach the Wimbledon Final, while the 16-year-old prodigy ANDREA JAEGER , conqueror of Virginia Wade last year, may have to share the teenage limelight with the even younger KATHY RINALDI , who at 14 made a spectacular debut at the French Championships earlier this" month.

A report on the Cosmetic Surgery Business
' Do you reflect the right image? asks an advertisement in a popular daily. A phone call and £1,000 - or just a credit card - can now buy you an instant cosmetic operation. Made-to-measure surgery in Britain's growing number of private clinics has become big business.
Harold Williamson asks who is cashing in on the boom and what sort of service they are offering. There are many successful operations. But there are also a number of dissatisfied customers - and this has caused concern in the medical profession. National Health Service consultants speak out for the first time in this film about the . dangers of what has been called the ' surgery of illusion '.
