Remember the struggle women had to get the same pay and opportunities as their male work-mates? After many battles laws were passed to give British working women the same status as men.

Ten years later, Judith Hann investigates how much the Equal Pay Act has really achieved and discovers that these fine aspirations have largely been forgotten. And with the threat of increased unemployment today's women are faced with the danger that work will be even harder to find if they fight for genuine equality. The Risk Business examines the dilemma facing 12 million working women.
