British 1976 Olympic gold medallist, joins the champions and leading skaters from the recent World Championships, including Robin Cousins , in a glittering exhibition of ice skating to celebrate the 100th birthday of The National Skating Association of Great Britain.
The best collection of international ice skating talent ever assembled in this country has come to this Royal occasion to pay tribute to Britain's role in the development of all branches of skating over the last century and particularly ice skating, to that combination of elegance, athleticism and music that gives ice skating such tremendous popular appeal here.
Britain's world champions from the past receive commemorative centenary medals from The Queen. They include:
