The first of a new series of these popular contests. Tonight's match includes a wide variety of sports, ranging from gymnastics to judo and including hockey, fencing and netball.

Nearly 300 Sports and Leisure Centres have been built in the last ten years, and the skills and competitiveness in the whole range of sporting activities practised in these indoor arenas are used to good effect in these strenuously-contested programmes.
