When dozens of weeny-boppers fell from the balcony at London Airport, BBC cameras were there. When the concert at Manchester was stopped, BBC cameras were there. For ten days during the Osmonds' recent tour of Britain, wherever ALAN, WAYNE, MERRILL, JAY, DONNY and JIMMY went, BBC cameras were there. They stuck closer to the, Osmonds, amid the screaming and the raving girls, than ever before.
All the razzamatazz of the pop world was there, too. There was money to be made, songs to be sung-but this was no ordinary pop tour. Surrounded as they were by managers, press officers, impresarios and record promoters, the Osmonds were something else again - committed and devout Mormons.
