A preview of the Men's Final by the 1971 champion, John Newcombe, and interviews with the 1972 Wimbledon champions.
Jack Kramer, singles champion in 1947 and a Wimbledon commentator since 1960, says: "Convince yourself that the final is just another match. Don't change your preparations at the last minute". Kramer says his steak dinners were his biggest morale-booster 25 years ago. "When I arrived in Britain I brought two tenderloins with me. I managed to carve 18 to 20 steaks from them. I believed that steak gave me unlimited stamina". Not that he needed it. In the final he beat Tom Brown in three sets taking just 43 minutes. "I think that's still something of a Wimbledon record".

A sea-plane crashes near a deserted island in the Pacific and the survivors discover they are facing a new and terrifying danger... Their cause for consternation is that the island is being used to test an H-bomb. Unlike the present-day nuclear test crisis, the islanders in the film show scant concern for the pollution problems-they are more concerned with beating a hasty retreat.
