The top National Hunt and flat racing jockeys ride the pick of the country's show jumping horses in a straight man versus man knock-out competition from the National Equestrian Centre, Stoneleigh, Warwickshire.
John Lawrence on Falcon and David Nicholson on Jacopo won this intriguing and popular event in 1969 and 1970. David Coleman introduces the competition open to ail jockeys with 50 previous winners on the flat or over the sticks.
