Rosemarie Frankland (Miss United Kingdom), Catherina Lodders (Miss Holland),
Carole Joan Crawford (Miss Jamaica), Reita Faria (Miss India)
from the Midlands
What do you remember of the night? Did you have many offers of marriage? What has happened to you since? These are just three of the questions that Michael Aspel put to four ex-winners, and they weren't stuck for answers! If you think that one Miss World is just like another you might well be wrong.

Her Majesty The Queen and H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh take part in a ceremony at the monument to Bernardo O'Higgins, the founder of Chilean independence. The drive through the streets of Santiago is made in a procession of open landaus, with a cavalry escort. The Queen inspects the Guard of Honour and lays a wreath before watching the ceremonial parade of cadets from the Military Academy.
