A filmed interview with Horst Symanowski, author of The Christian Witness in an Industrial Society.
Symanowski, a Prussian parson, collected a 'Hitler leg' on the Eastern front, was hounded by Gestapo and OGPU alike, and faced a Russian firing-squad. Yet he rates the most exciting part of his life to be what he is doing now in Mainz-Kastel finding a new style of Christian living in an industrial world. 'His conclusions', says the Bishop of Middleton, 'have a brutal simplicity'.
