The drug LSD is considered such a danger to society that manufacturers in Britain and the U.S. no longer make it - even for serious research purposes. At the Spring Grove State Hospital in Maryland they prepare their own samples of LSD, and then use them for experiments with mental patients - to discover whether this powerful and potentially harmful drug can be used for the benefit of man.
