Forty-five minutes in a company of two - accompanied by an orchestra.

Without ever mining the rich vein of politics and politicians Joyce Grenfell - perhaps the doyenne of present-day satirists - has managed to make us laugh gently and consistently at various of our follies for nearly thirty years. 'It's a perfectly fair thing to get amusement out of silliness', she says. 'I am not conscious of observing people and I have never parodied a living person. If I knew where I got my sketch ideas from I would go back and get more'.
Tonight with pianist William Blezard she presents songs and sketches which amuse, entertain, and delight.
