Five artists were chosen to represent Britain: The painters, Bernard Cohen, Harold Cohen, Robyn Denny, Richard Smith, and the sculptor, Anthony Caro

This film, shot in London, New York, and Venice, visits the studios of the five artists and follows the progress of their exhibition which won international acclaim.
