A novel by Marguerite Duras
Translated and adapted for radio by Barbara Bray
[starring] Hermione Hannen and Michael Bryant

(The recorded broadcast of Nov. 16)

"Moderato Cantabile", by the author of "The Square" (broadcast in the Third Programme earlier this year), presents a number of problems demanding some uncommon radio techniques to solve them. In atmosphere it is not unlike "The Square".
It is principally a work for only two characters, a man and a young woman who, in discussing the tragic love affair of others, reveal their own relationship to one another.
