The finding of a document
The Rev. W.S. Scott speaks about the rediscovery of the manuscript account of the two trials of Joan of Arc made for Diane de Poitiers in the early years of the sixteenth century. He believes this is the actual manuscript on which Holinshed based his account of the Pucelle and is thus the original source for Shakespeare's Joan of Arc.
