Talk by Anthony Crosland. M.P.
In a recent broadcast talk Harold Cowen expounded the economic case for take-over bids Anthony Ciosland , Member of Parliament for South Gloucestershire, suggests that, however strong the purely economic arguments for takeovers, they may be outweighed by the social and political considerations involved.

Talk by George Whalley
As a young man Coleridge wrote: I am and ever have been a great reader, and have read almost every thing-a library cormorant.* The notes he wrote, throughout his life, in the books he read are of great importance for. an understanding of his own work and personality. George Whalley , Associate Professor of English at Queen's University, Ontario", has been tracing the many books containing Coleridge's marginalia which still exist. In his talk he comments on the variety and the significance of this material, much of which has never been published.
