Talk by Francis Watson
In a balcony room at Benares, overlooking the river Ganges, Francis Watson talked with two friends some time ago on Indian temples and the meaning of their sculptures.
A collection of photographs of some of the most famous Hindu temple sculptures is at present touring various parts of Britain in an exhibition arranged by the Arts Council. They were taken by one of Mr. Watson's two friends from India, the Swiss photographer Raymond Burnier.
