Conflicts and disturbances in Dvorak's public and private life are reflected in his Piano Trio in F minor (the third of his four Piano Trios). He composed it in 1883, shortly before his great Symphony in D minor, which it resembles in its breadth and power. H.R.

Talk by Lord Verulam
