H. V. Hodson, who has many connections with Australia and New Zealand, has since 1934 been editor of The Round Table, the famous quarterly review which specialises in the affairs of the British Empire. He paid his first visit to Australia and New Zealand in 1932 and 1933, spending some months in each country. He has recently returned from a further visit in connection with the British Commonwealth Relations Conference, held at Sydney, N.S.W., of which he was official recorder. In the course of this visit he delivered a number of broadcasts on international and economic affairs.
Sir Alfred Zimmern, who joins him in this talk, was a delegate to the Conference and was paying his first visit to the Pacific dominions.
