A play of the Atomic Age
Written for radio by Elleston Trevor
From the novel by Warwick Scott
Produced by Archie Campbell
The experimental explosion of a new and immensely powerful hydrogen bomb may destroy all life upon earth. Should that risk with all its attendant implications, material and moral, be taken? If so, who shall cast the final vote, the governments-the scientists—or the peoples of the world?
The fearful problem is seen through the eyes of a group of hard-bitten journalists living in a society which, if not contemporary, may not be so far distant. How it is met and how ordinary men and women face the threat of doom is told in Elleston Trevor's play.
