Mrs. Dale, the doctor's wife. records the daily happenings in the life of her family,
Script by Hazel Adair
Mrs. Freeman wrote agitating for the manure to be turned frequently, a task which was eventually done by Mrs. Dale and Bob. Edward Fielding complained to Dr. Dale about the dump and asked for it to be removed. Trevor and Julie ran away to Scotland to get married, but did not have the necessary residential qualifications and had to return to London. Trevor's army Padre, Charles Murray, saw Julie's father in an endeavour to persuade him and Mrs. Randall to take a more lenient attitude in future towards their daughter's friendship with Trevor. Jan Brodek persuaded Edward Fielding not to punish Tiggy for the incident with the mice at the Fete.
