Measuring Personality by G. S. Claridge , Ph.D.

Until recently psychiatrists had to rely on their own impressions when deciding what was wrong with a mentally sick person. This method is open to obvious objection and Dr. Claridge describes several developments that are leading towards making the measurement of personality a laboratory experiment.
