A series of four weekly programmes
2-A Public School
A boy in a black gown crosses an empty quadrangle, bells ring the changes, choristers in chapel intone a psalm.... so begins another day at school.
This is an attempt to portray a school through the events of its daily life, in the classroom, the staff room, and on the playground. It is also an attempt to show what schools have in common and what divides them from each other.
