Last week Cornelius Beale tried in vain to solve the mystery of the disappearance of the Phantom and organised a search. Luke and Bunk arrived in Tewkesbury with the stolen ship and, during their absence, Annie came out of the cabin and discovered that she was not in Worcester as she expected. Simon, however, was looking for her, and they met on King John's Bridge, only to part again. Simon was captured by Luke and Bunk, and Annie was found by Moses.
