A serial play in six parts by Felicity Douglas from the book by Noel Streatfeild

When an eccentric great-uncle adopts three little girls, puts them in your care, and then disappears on his travels again for several years, leaving very little money for the upkeep of a fairly large house - what is the best thing to do? The answer for Sylvia Brown was - take in boarders. Not very exciting perhaps, but as it happened they altered the whole lives of the three Fossils - Pauline, Petrova, and Posy.
