How is it formed? How much is prejudice, and how much propaganda? How does it act upon M.P.s? Does the Press lead or follow? What about the new methods of discovering public opinion-market research, Gallup polls, and social surveys?

These questions are put to three witnesses: H. T. Hopkinson (editor of 'Picture Post'), Capt. Peter Thorneycroft (M.P. for Stafford), and Dr. Henry Durant (Director of the British Institute of Public Opinion). Questioner, F. E. G. Thomas. Some of the points are illustrated by dramatic scenes produced by Douglas Cleverdon.
