Jackie Hunter and Sid' Bright
Sidney Bright , who is Geraldo's twin brother, is an old hand Jit the microphone in this country. His opposite number is a comparative newcomer.
Bright is one of the most accomplished dance-band pianists of the day. Jackie Hunter came across the Atlantic to London to look for a job in 1935. Within a very few days he was introduced to Jack Jackson with whom he worked for six years. He was recently one of the pillars of the Askey-Desmond series ' Big Time '. which served to introduce him to a wide circle of radio friends.

When the Polish Army was re-formed in this country, after Poland came under German occupation, there was a surplus of officers in many of the camps, and at one of them the officers decided to form themselves into a choir. They started with twenty to thirty singers under their conductor George Kolaczkowski , who was Music Director of the broadcasting station at Lwow, but they now number over fifty. Their first concert was given in August
.1940 and since then they have sung at over 300 concerts all over Great Britain and have collected more tftan £ 10.000 for distribution to Bfitish and Polish charities.
Their repertoire does not consist entirely of Polish songs ; as a compliment to Scotland they have learned many Scottish songs, such as Loch Lomond
