Two public symphony concerts are to be given at the Town Hall,' Cheltenham, today: the first this afternoon, the second at 8 o'clock this evening. These are the first public concerts that the BBC Symphony
Orchestra has given .outside Bristol since the war. Further plans for public appearances in the West Country include concerts in the Central Hall, Newport, on January 17 and in the Pavilion, Bath, on January 24.
