Twelfth of the series organised by the Radio Section of the War Department in Washington for the
entertainment of members of the United States Forces serving overseas. Recorded in the United States, and edited for reproduction in this country by Basil Adams
Bob Hope, Leslie Mitchell, Esmond Knight, Jack Jackson, Stanley Holloway, and Nora Swinburne are some of the famous people who contribute problems to the 22nd contest in the series, devised by Neil Munro and arranged and presented by Ronald Waldman and Audrey Cameron in aid of the Red Cross Penny-a-Week Fund. Entire entry fees from this specially recorded programme are devoted to the Fund. The last day for posting entries is Thursday, July 30, and the address is [address removed].
The results of this contest will be announced after the 6.0 p.m. News Bulletin on August 16, and also in the RADIO TIMES published on August 21.
