Devised and presented by Gertrude Lawrence and Richard Haydn with Harry Richman
The Merry Macs
' Edwin Carp '
Jack Goulden
Fred Waring 's Glee Singers
Alan Ross and his Orchestra recorded in U.S.A.
A week or two ago listeners heard a first-rate programme, ' Over Here', contributed, as a tribute to the R.A.F., by American players and film stars who are in England. In this new series a similar gesture to our Forces is to be made by both American and British players and film stars who are in America. With Gertrude Lawrence as top of the bill in this the first programme, the series has a grand send-off.
