After research found that some autistic youngsters have the measles virus in their guts and blood, campaigners against the combined MMR inoculation have become insistent that the truth cannot be found until autistic children are properly and scientifically investigated. Now a new study looks at whether that research is reliable and can form a basis for a definitive answer to the MMR question.
