Chelsea Football Club has been the home of many of our finest players, among, them the fabulous Jimmy Greaves. Today they have a fine team of stylish young players, such as Bobby Tambling, whom you will be seeing in action. The man who is responsible for this success is former Arsenal and Scotland captain Tommy Docherty, himself a great stylist, and he shows you how important this is.

Barry Bucknell's weekly do-it-yourself guide to jobs in the home.

The attic room is nearing completion and beginning to look more like home. The walls are sprayed with flecked paint, a successful way of covering deficiencies in wall surfaces, and it is bright and cheerful as well. A glazed partition wall has to be fixed to prevent people falling down the stair well, and a folding door will help to keep in the warmth. Down in the basement bathroom the walls will be decorated with ceramic tiles.

Introduced by Peter Scott.

As young animals begin to grow up they become able to feed themselves, but their parents must still protect and educate them. Play becomes increasingly important. It exercises the muscles; it teaches size, shape, speed, and dimension; it is practice for hunting, for fighting, for escape, and for the whole business of living.
Young storks exercise their wings; young lions learn to pounce, young baboons to climb and tumble, and young children to play with bricks and with each other.

Written by David Sylvester and Michael Gill.
Some modern artists, such as the Surrealists, have given free rein to fantasy and improvisation in their work. The American action painters have extended the cult of improvisation. They tend to regard the canvas as an arena within which the painter acts in accordance with his particular feelings and needs.
