Bucknell's House: 34

on BBC Television

Barry Bucknell's weekly do-it-yourself guide to jobs in the home.

The attic room is nearing completion and beginning to look more like home. The walls are sprayed with flecked paint, a successful way of covering deficiencies in wall surfaces, and it is bright and cheerful as well. A glazed partition wall has to be fixed to prevent people falling down the stair well, and a folding door will help to keep in the warmth. Down in the basement bathroom the walls will be decorated with ceramic tiles.
