For 400 years the Indians of America have fought a losing battle against the white invaders. Dozens of tribes have been exterminated, many dispossessed of their lands and detribalised. A few in the remote forests of Central Brazil still remain virtually untouched by civilisation. But they are at war with the whites, and when they kill a white intruder they enact a strange and terrifying ritual to appease his spirit.
