A Consultant Psychiatrist examines The Subconscious Mind

We know about ourselves and life around us through normal consciousness. We know some of the past through memory. But the deepest and most extensive store of individual experience lies hidden beneath the surface of the mind.
The subconscious mind is the area of greatest importance to the psychiatrist in his treatment and understanding of people. Through analysis, psychotherapy, and hypnosis this area can be explored and behaviour explained.
